Thursday morning group rides will begin at 6:00am for the remainder of the year. Same meeting spot as always, and remember bike lights are mandatory!

Weekend rides: On Saturday we have the Tour de Defiant Brewery. You won’t want to miss it! The group will depart at 10am for the 30 mile ride up to our delicious destination. At IRONMAN Wisconsin, Julie Percifield completed her 1st IRONMAN in 13:08, Gabrielle Rasure finished Challenge Cedar Point Half in 6:25, Derek Barnes ran the Lehigh Valley Marathon in 3:27, and David Pietrangelo finished 3rd in his age group at the Hightstown Sprint Triathlon. Good luck to those racing at Meters for Mike Open Water Mile and Long Beach Island Triathlon!

Unfortunately, the Donut Ride is canceled for this Saturday, but come hang out with the club members when they aren’t wearing spandex! The club social is still on at Maxwell’s Tavern in Hoboken starting at 2pm on Saturday, 9/19.

Mark your calendars for a really fun event – the 2nd annual Tour de Defiant! On Saturday, 9/26, we will be riding up to Defiant Brewery for a little bike and brew (and taking NJ Transit trains home).

There are no official group rides planned for this weekend, but don’t forget that Tuesday morning track workouts and Thursday morning group rides are still on every week throughout the fall. Track workouts meet at 5:45am at 9th St. and Park Ave. in Hoboken or at the Weehawken track at 6:00am. Group rides meet at 5:45am outside the 14th St. ferry on Frank Sinatra Drive. Bike lights are mandatory to attend group rides.
