Weekly News Update 9/13

We had more great race results for our very talented GCTri club members last weekend!  At Shoreman Half: Rich Miani (5:07 – 5^th AG), Dave Pietrangelo (5:13 – 4^th AG), Maria Wedgeworth (5:22 – 1st AG), Mike Frank (5:30); Pascack Valley Sprint: Glenn Hartrick (1^st OA);  Toughman: Raphael Zagury (4:56 – 7^th AG),  Jen Sheppard (5:22 – 4^th OA Female, 1^st AG), Cheryl Tarbous (6:36), Mark Tsigounis (5:01- 1^st Div), Gran Fondo NJ: Dave Doherty, Jim Englert & John Argueta competed.  

Best wishes to Nicole Ogrosso at ITU World Championships in London!  Good luck to our team members racing the LBI Sprint, One More Tri, Trifitness Westport Sprint, Philly Rock & Roll Half Marathon and any other races this weekend. Crush it!

We have a couple options for rides this weekend.  Andrew Corcione will be leading a 60mi ride that will depart 14th St. Pier at 7am on Saturday. If you are looking for a more  friendly paced “muffin” ride, Mike Haskell will be departing the pier at 8:30am on Saturday heading to Piermont.  If you are riding with the group on Thursday mornings, blinking lights are mandatory for your safety – it’s dark out there.  Happy Training!
